Outpatient surgery will be scheduled through an
appointment with your family physician or any of the consulting
specialists. Your physician may schedule certain diagnostic procedures
such as surgeon consultation, lab tests, x-ray, EKG, etc. The
pre-surgical work-up will also include a visit with the
surgery/anesthesia staff for a health history and detailed instruction
regarding your particular procedure. Please allow time in your schedule
for this preliminary work. This allows us to provide you the best
possible care.
To assure maximum benefits are received, our staff can work with
Medicare/Medicaid or your insurance company concerning pre-surgical
requirements. Please contact Delores Bragg (660-385-8732) with
your coverage information as soon as you know surgery is needed. If
payment arrangements are necessary, contact the patient accounts
